EFA was put in place to be part of the minimum Basic Safety Training programme for seafarers. The course covers:

This course involves both a theoretical and practical side of dealing with fire on board a vessel.
The course covers:
- Classes of Fires
- Safety on board
- Correct use of fire extinguishers, both portable and mobile (wheeled)

- Correct use of hoses, hose equipment and nozzles
- Fire prevention.
PSSR courses is to help understand the importance of personal safety on vessels and the social responsibilities that being on board entails.

This courses provides crew with the knowledge of launching and handling survival crafts.
This course covers:
- Survival craft locations
- Launching survival crafts safely and efficiently
- Handling Survival crafts at sea
The First Person On Scene course provides the skills and knowledge to provide essential first aid to those in life threatening situations. FPOSi is AoFA certified from the UK.
The course covers:
- Initial patient assessment
- The management of circulation and shock
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
- Respiration and airway management
- Basic life support
- Paramedic Assist
The Crowd Management course provides the skills and knowledge to safely manage crowds while onboard a vessel during emergency situation.
The course covers:
- Assisting passengers to muster points.
- Understanding vessel muster procedures.
- Restrictions on elevator usage.
- Controlling passengers in corridors, staircases and passageways.
- Procedures for reducing and avoiding panic.
The Gas Carrier Familiarisation course is to ensure that on completion of the course all students have the knowledge and understanding of the below:

The Food Hygiene course provides the skills and knowledge of safely handling food.

Our English course is certified by RTC English based in Kathmandu opposite the British Embassy (Nepal) . This 4 week course ensures that everyone coming through the college can communicate in English.
